Oliver & Baxie | April 2016 Kits | Hip Kit Club

 Hi everyone! 

Today I am sharing a design team scrapbook layout that I created for Hip Kit Club using the awesome ‪April 2016 Main and Add-On kits. 

We are all showcasing our furry friends this week, my youngest son is in love with my parents dog and vice versa so this was the perfect layout to document the sweet bond they have. I used the Pinkfresh Studio ‪Life Noted heart paper for my background, to emphasize the split between the hearts and the grid, I added a strip of the Amy Tangerine American Crafts ‪Better Together ‪washi tape. 

I just had to use that beautiful 'Happy Hearts Dance' ‪Hip Kit exclusive‬ Project Life card designed by Kim Watson on this layout, it helps to bring some of the colour from the hearts across to the grid side. I further embellished my layout with lots of Pinkfresh Studio Life Noted embellishments, a Heidi Swapp minc frame and banner paper clip, some rub-ons from the Better Together collection and enamel dots from My Minds Eye. ‪#‎hipkitclub‬ ‪#‎scrapbookingkitclub‬ ‪#‎kitclub‬

I also have a quick card to share with you using up some of the leftovers from the Hip Kit club kits..I wanted to create some layers with this card so I used two of the HKC exclusive project life cards designed by Kim Watson and cut them down to fit the cardstock card base. I added a wood veneer paper clip from Simple Stories Life in Color. I used two of the rub-ons from the Amy Tangerine American Crafts Better Together #ACbettertogether collection rubbing them onto some scrap white cardstock first so that they could be layered over each other and moved around. I further embellished my card with a sticker from the Shimelle Laine #ACstarshine Starshine collection, a Heidi Swapp banner paperclip and some enamel dots by My Minds Eye.
