Every photograph tells a story, and sometimes the simplest moments become the most treasured memories, the Life in Photos perspextive title in the October Fox Box from Bramble Fox was the perfect choice for this layout. The two photos capture a simple, everyday moment, the kind of memory that might seem ordinary at the time but becomes special when documented. Scrapbooking is all about telling the story of our lives through photographs, and this title perfectly reflects that idea.
For this page, I wanted to create a soft, layered design that would draw attention to the photos while allowing the beautiful embellishments from the October Fox Box to shine. I started by building a large circular feature in the background using torn patterned papers. The layered circles add texture and movement while framing the entire design beautifully.
The woodgrain paper became the perfect focal point for my photo cluster, creating a subtle contrast against the softer florals and muted autumn-inspired colours. I placed two photos side by side and tucked in lots of fussy cut leaves from Paper Snips #99 and other ephemera around the photos to create depth and visual interest. The soft blue colour of the perspextive title pops against the neutral background and helps anchor the photo cluster. I paired it with the sweet "Be Happy" sentiment above the photos to reinforce the positive, everyday story behind these snapshots.
At the bottom right of the layout, the adorable hedgehog perspextive piece (also for the October Fox Box) sits nestled amongst a basket of florals adds a playful finishing touch. Small details like these are what make the Fox Box so much fun to work with. I also included a row of heart embellishments beneath the photos to add a little extra texture and colour.
To balance the page, I added floral clusters to opposite corners of the circular design. This creates a lovely visual triangle and naturally leads the eye around the layout. The leave pieces from Paper Snips #99 in the October Fox Box are perfect for layering, and I couldn't resist adding plenty of leaves and blooms throughout the page.
This layout is a reminder that some of the best memories are found in the ordinary moments. A quick selfie, a laugh shared together, or simply being present with the people we love can become treasured memories worth documenting.
