My 2012-2013 Masters Journey Part 2

Hello again everyone, if you happened to pop by my blog a few days ago, you would have seen Part 1 of my Masters journey, well today you guessed it, its time to share Part 2!!!

Today I am sharing my double layout with you all. This was the very last project that I created as I had trouble getting my head around exactly what I wanted to do for this challenge. The criteria for this project was to create a double layout and to scrap about your childhood. For me, unlike many others the childhood part was easy for me. I am ever so grateful to Mum for taking so many photos of myself and my brother and sister, it was just a matter of what photos to use. So I chose to scrap about myself and my Dad, its not often I include Dad in many layouts so it was a dedication layout to him too.

I chose to use the soft colours of the My Minds Eye Follow Your Heart collection....one of all time favourite collections of theirs.....I LOVE it!!! I used brown paper bags tucked under the patterned papers and these held an extra photo on one side and some journaling on the other side....

I couldn't resist adding a little Hambly transparency to this layout, as not long before I created this layout, I had found out they were going to be no longer :( So its a little tribute to Hambly :)

Here is my journaling up close.....

I hope you are enjoying getting to see my Masters projects up a little closer..stay tuned for the last two in the next few days as well.....take care and thanks so much for stopping by.....xx

A beautiful colour palette that works so well with both your photos and your layout theme. Love the use of the paper bags :).
