Take More Photos | Bramble Fox

Hi creative friends!

Do you have a photographer in your family? My eldest son fancied himself as a photographer a few years ago and so I just had to snap a photo of him using my big camera! Using a mix of Bramble Fox goodies from the September Fox Box that add colour, dimension, and storytelling power to every corner of the page, I really enjoyed creating this not so camera shy layout!

I chose the Bramble Fox Film Frames cut file and cut this from grey cardstock. I added craft foam underneath and adhered it to a plain sheet of white cardstock. The bold Take More Photos acrylic title from the September Fox Box was the perfect title for this layout. Its crisp design and glossy finish instantly draw the eye and sets the theme with confidence. It’s more than a title—it’s a reminder, a goal, and a spark of motivation all in one.

Placed alongside my photo, it anchors the page and reinforces the message behind the layout: embracing creativity, capturing everyday magic, and celebrating the joy of being behind the lens!

The page is also enriched by the vibrant patterns from the Reasons to Smile collection by Shimelle. The bright colours, playful motifs, and uplifting sentiments pair beautifully with the Bramble Fox pieces, giving the clusters extra depth and a joyful, storytelling vibe. Together, with words and phrases from Paper Snips #97 and the hexagon woodie also from the September Fox Box, these elements make the layout feel lively, cohesive, and full of creative energy—each piece supporting the story you’re telling.

The combination of patterned papers, layered embellishments, and pops of florals creates a vibrant, energetic composition. The clusters around the photo feel intentional and well‑balanced, while the film strip elements add a nostalgic touch that ties the whole theme together.

The mix of blues, pinks, and neutrals keeps the page fresh and modern, and the placement of each embellishment helps guide the viewer’s eye from the title to the photo and out toward the supporting details.

This layout is a celebration of creativity—both in photography and in papercrafting. With the Take More Photos acrylic title leading the way, the playful icons from Paper Snips 97, and the dynamic Film Frames cut file, my page is full of personality, motivation, and visual storytelling.

It’s the kind of layout that not only documents a moment but inspires you to go out and capture more.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you get the chance to use your Fox Box goodies and you can take some inspiration from my layout.

Happy creating!
