Hi creative friends!
Do you ever find that some moments and photos don’t need a long explanation—they simply need to be remembered. This layout captures one of those moments, where happiness shows up naturally and the story almost tells itself. Using some fabulous goodies from Bramble Fox and Pretty Little Studio.
I built this page using the new Today’s Story Perspextive title, and it really set the tone for the entire layout. There’s something so grounding about those words. They invite you to pause, to look closely at what’s happening right now, and to honour the everyday memories that become so meaningful over time.
One of my favourite elements on the page is the rainbow tucked behind the photo. It adds movement and joy, almost like the memory itself radiating outward. I also loved scattering small heart perspextives, phrases from Paper Snips #55 and # 89, and dots around the layout to guide the eye and reinforce that feeling of connection and love. The Bramble Fox pieces are perfect for this kind of storytelling—they’re fun but still versatile enough to let the photo shine.
The final touch was, of course, the Today’s Story title. Placing it front and center was intentional. This layout isn’t about a big event or milestone; it’s about this day, this feeling, and this story. The kind of story that might seem ordinary now, but will feel incredibly special when we look back.
Tarrah's Tip: When using a standout title like the Today’s Story Perspextive, let it guide your entire layout. Treat it as part of the storytelling, not just a finishing touch. I like to position the title early in the design process and then build my embellishment clusters and colour choices around it. Keeping the title visible and uncluttered allows its meaning to really shine and helps anchor the page emotionally.

That’s what I love most about scrapbooking—turning everyday moments into something lasting. Today’s Story may be simple, but it’s ours, and that makes it perfectly worth documenting.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope this layout inspires you to capture your own “today” stories, big or small.
Happy creating!
Tarrah x
