EEK! | Goosebumps collection | Pretty Little Studio

Boo! It's Halloween month and I'm excited to share a spook-tacular Halloween scrapbook layout I created using the adorable Goosebumps collection by Pretty Little Studio. This layout features a sweet photo of my nieces dressed up for Halloween, and I just love how it all came together with playful colors, layered embellishments, and festive Halloween vibes!

Halloween is one of my favorite times to scrapbook—costumes, candy, and creative memories! The photo I used shows my nieces dressed as a witch and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. Their expressions were priceless, and I wanted the layout to reflect the magic and excitement of that moment. The Goosebumps collection was the perfect choice for this layout. The colors are vibrant yet spooky, with a great mix of oranges, blacks, blues, and yellows. There are so many fun Halloween-themed elements included—bats, stars, tags, labels, and word stickers—all of which added depth and dimension to my design.

I started with a soft diagonal striped background that had just the right amount of texture and subtle distressing. From there, I built up a layered photo mat with patterned paper, tags, and die cuts. I added stars, circles, and other shapes to create visual interest around the photo. The mix of flat and dimensional pieces helps the layout feel dynamic and engaging.

Some of my favorite elements include:

  • The bold “EEK!” title layered over the photo for a playful pop.

  • The phrase “It’s just a bunch of hocus pocus”, which adds a magical touch.

  • Word circles like “Happy Halloween” and “Full Moon” that help anchor the theme.

I finished off the layout with a few stamped dates (October 31st, of course!), a cute label that says “Good Witch,” and a sprinkling of textured accents. I love how the layers work together without overwhelming the photo—it keeps the memory front and center while adding lots of fun.

This layout makes me smile every time I look at it. It captures a moment in time that’s so full of joy and childhood wonder. The Goosebumps collection truly made it easy to pull together a cohesive and colorful Halloween page.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to dig into your Halloween photos and start creating with this amazing collection. Happy haunting and happy scrapping!

Tarrah x
