Smile You Make Life More Beautiful | You Are My Sunshine/Sunkissed collections | Pretty Little Studio

It's Tarrah McLean back with you and today I’m sharing one of my latest 12x12 layouts using two of my absolute favorite Pretty Little Studio collections – You Are My Sunshine and Sunkissed. These bright, happy collections are bursting with color, whimsy, and summer cheer – the perfect vibe for capturing joyful childhood moments like this one of my little niece exploring the backyard. 

For this layout, I used a light grid background from You Are My Sunshine as my base. It gives just the right amount of structure while allowing the embellishments and photo to shine. I layered my photo with the cloud vellum from the Sunkissed collection and scalloped edges also from the Sunkissed collection, then added a mix of die-cuts, clear stickers, and word flags from both collections.

I absolutely love how the pops of yellow, coral, mint, and lavender from Sunkissed bring so much playfulness to the page. The sweet dragonfly, stitched banner, and kite elements dance across the layout, echoing the fun and freedom of childhood. I also added lots of hearts using craft foam and some more clouds too.

The large title "Smile You Make Life More Beautiful" from Sunkissed is bold yet cheerful and sets the tone perfectly and is a gentle reminder of how precious these everyday moments are. I also included a quote bubble that reads:
“If you’re naturally yourself, you’re beautiful.” – Young M.A. 

Both the You Are My Sunshine and Sunkissed collections work so beautifully together, and I love how they helped me capture the warmth and wonder of this fun day. If you're looking to document your summer memories, I can’t recommend these collections enough!
