Today I am sharing a new back to school themed layout created for Pretty Little Studio featuring the awesome Color Me Happy collection!
I started out by choosing the awesome 12' x 12' Alphabet Soup paper for my background. I did trim it down slightly and backed it with a sheet of black cardstock. This paper is perfect for a back to school project!
To break up the busy background paper, I layered a small piece of black cardstock down vertically and then placed a 4' x 6' journalling card from the Be Awesome pack horizontally. I also placed a smaller 3'x 4' journal card in black under my photo to help separate layers and adhered this down onto the 4' x 6' journal card.
To draw the viewers eye in to the photo, I added all of the embellishments around the photo. The Color Me Happy pack of crayons die-cut from the Hear Me Roar die cut pack was another perfect element to add to the page! I chose a title from the Stay True Words pack and added it to the right of my photo. I also picked out some phrase cut outs to suit like, Be Brave and Superstar and added these to the left of my photo. Lastly I added a few star stickers and some heart die-cuts.
