Happy Easter crafty friends!!
Today I am sharing an Easter layout created for Pretty Little Studio using the gorgeous Color Me Happy collection!
I just LOVE the colours in the Color Me Happy collection! It was a perfect choice for an Easter layout, the 12' x 12' Sweet Drops paper I chose as my background paper reminded me so much of Easter Eggs!
I chose an Easter title cut file design and cut it out from white cardstock. I then backed the title cut file with the Funfetti paper from Color Me Happy. Once backed, I added craft foam underneath the cut file and adhered it slightly to the left of another piece of white cardstock. I trimmed down the cardstock and adhered it to the 12' x 12' Sweet Drops paper.
On the right of the cut file design, I tucked in the cute photo of my son doing an Easter Egg hunt. I layered one of the 3' x 4' cards from the Be Awesome journaling set underneath my photo to bring some more colour to the right hand side. I also fussy cut the rainbow scallops out of the larger card with the black spots and tucked this piece under my photo at the bottom and under the bottom of the cut file also.
I layered a yellow Happy die-cut title over the cut file and the fabric heart is from my stash. Above the photo I adhered one of the rainbow die-cuts and I also adhered some of the circle die-cuts around the photo and title too. To finish the layout, I added a few phrase stickers and pennants to help tell the story. I also stamped the date stamp of when the photo was taken.
