Hello!
Before you read through my post I need to announce the lucky winner of the cut file I was giving away from The Cut Shoppe!
The lucky winner is:
Judith
Congrats Judith, I will be in touch with you regarding your prize, thank you everyone who left some lovely comments!!
Today I am sharing two more of the 4 projects I created for my guest design team position for Pink Paislee!
'I Still Call Australia Home'
This photo was taken on Australia Day held in January this year, I decided to convert the photo to black and white but preserve the colour just in the Australian flag my son is holding.
As soon as I saw that gorgeous atlas patterned paper from the Atlas collection, I knew that was the one I wanted to use for this layout..I wanted my layout to have a progression towards our home of Australia...I used a globe cut file tucked under the left side of my photo for extra layering and embellished using arrows to help with the progession to our country....finally adding a map marker to our exact state!
There is a song that an Australian poet wrote once called 'I Still Call Australia Home' I was singing this song as I created this layout and thought it only fitting as the title for my page!

Off The Page Project - Suitcase
The suitcase was too wide to use a full piece of patterned paper on one side, so I needed to improvise and cut the paper into sections...I got the idea to make some 'straps' with the navy patterned paper to hide the gaps and LOVE the result!
Thank you so much for joining me on my blog today and thank you ever so much to the gorgeous Pink Paislee girls for having me as a guest designer!
I hope I have inspired you to create with your Pink Paislee goodies!
Happy creating..
