My 2012-2013 Masters Journey Part 4- Last One!

Hi again all!! How is everyone going?

If you have been following my blog lately you will have noticed that I have been sharing my 2012-2013 Masters winning entry projects. If you would like to go back and start again, you can click on these links for Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. Today is Part 4 and the final project to share with you all.
The criteria for this layout was that you had to use a photo that was 5' x 7' inch and that was eye engaging. This layout was my favourite and still is one of my favourite layouts of all time. I don't scrap large photos very often but I was so thrilled with how this layout turned out.
I bribed Luke one day to get a nice photo of him that was eye catching, I think I achieved that so that was certainly a great starting point for my layout.

I have used 3 items from my fellow Master Gail Lindner's store Greatest View on this layout, the orange chevron bag, the large glassine bag behind my photo and the orange chevron badge/flair....

If you look closely at the above photo, just below the word badge, you can see there is a white brad there. This is the only thing adhering this photo down and also the twine tied around the bottom of the photo. When you untie the twine you can lift up the photo to read the journalling through the glassine bag as seen in the photo below. You can also pull the journalling card out if you prefer....I added some different coloured confetti bits to the inside of the bag to draw the eye in as well....if you pull out the journalling card the washi tape and design elements run right across the centre of the layout to flow with each side.

So there you have it, this was my last project for the Scrapbooking Memories Masters competition, I am still in awe of becoming a Master and I have so enjoyed the journey thus far, I encourage all of you to give it a go this year, you just never know!!
Thank you for following my Masters journey, I hope you enjoyed seeing a bit more detail in my projects....take care and happy scrapping x
