Scrap the Boys, KIU and Stuck?!

Hi all, wow what a week I have had!!! I have had my littlest one very sick with some virus that he is just not shaking even on antibiotics, visitors staying at our house for two nights and my sister and her English boyfriend going to live in England for who knows how long :'( So it has been quite a tiring week with not much sleep and being a little on the emotional side.
I have lots of DT commitments I need to complete but I have really needed to catch up on some sleep instead!!
Being the beginning of the month again, I of course have 3 layouts to share for the Creative Team's I am on. But first I just wanted to share a layout I did for the April challenge over at Polly Scrap Kits If you join in you go in the running for a $30 voucher to spend in store and I just found out that I won for this month woohoo!!!!!!! April's challenge was to take inspiration from a lovely picture so here is my layout:

and this was the inspiration photo....

so I took inspiration from the tree by adding a little chippie one and I also included the title in my layout and I tried to stick with the colours as well........I was happy with how this turned out...that's a photo of my beautiful Mum and I!!

Next is the Scrap the Boys challenge example and this month is to scrap about your boy/s getting dirty.....anything from dirt, food, mud, paint, you name it!!!
You are also asked for the photos you use to inspire your layout in someway.
I have used orange and yellow paint to reflect the spaghetti mess on my youngest's face!!!

Next is Kraft It Up and this months challenge is to of course use Kraft patterned paper or cardstock and to ask someone you are close to 'What does Easter Mean to You?'
So I of course, I asked my 6 year old son and his answer was 'Yummy Chocie Eggs'!!!!!

Here is the wonderful sketch for the May the 1st sketch at Stuck?! Sketches

Here is my interpretation of the sketch.....I am so in love with Echo Park's This and That 'Charming' range at the moment, it is one of my all time favourite collections so I try to use it whenever I can!!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and for any love you may leave for me, I cherish each and every comment so much so thanks heaps.....take care all and happy scrappin xxx

Cute layout of Luke on the horse. Love that paper and I love the wood flourish that you have used too.
Don't over do yourself hun,, you have a lot of DT commitments but you and your family come first. I can only imagine it would be like to have a sick little one and the rest of the family to look after as well as work and keep your DT up to date. xx
