Hi all....hope you all had a nice relaxing long weekend.
I managed to do 5 layouts this weekend in between some snoozing and spending time with my boys!!
This card and layout below are for the SIA competition. The theme this year is 'What If..' and you had to do a card and a layout interpreting this theme.
'Little Man' is for Mad About Scrappin April Challenges 4of 4 and it was to use black cardstock and negative space.
'Computer Whiz' is from Enchanted Scrapbooking for their April 'What's Old is New' Cybercrop. Jodi set a challenge to get inspiration from an old retro McDonalds poster.
'Pure and Natural' is also from Enchanted...this was Lisa's challenge to use the colours green and brown and use something old thats non-scrap related. I have used old postage stamps.
'Give Us a Kiss' is also from Enchanted and this was Tracey's challenge to use at least 3 OLD embellies on your layout. I have used photo turns, metal heart clip, flower brads and metal word.
'Tarrah' is from Little Scrapbook Shop this is Week 1 of Autumn for The Seasoned Scrapper. We had to scrap about the meaning of our name. Used some old Kaisercraft here.
Thanks so much for looking and for stopping by....

Hope you all had a great weekend.
Got some more layouts to share with you.
'Love Lego' is from a style swap that us DT did over at Scrap A While We chose one of the other DT girls to try and do their style of scrapping. I chose to try and scrap like the very talented Kim Jeffress so this is what I came up with.

'Ridgewood' is my take on this months challenge over at ARTastic. You had to scrap about home. I have scrapped about my parents home on their beautiful property in Scone. For extra points for judging you had to include: a green roofed house, a lamp, an arrowed sign post, a bridge and a gazebo. I have included everything on my layout.
'S is for Sister' is my take on Kim Kendell's sketch challenge over at Scrap A While Kim designs her own sketches and it was a gorgeous sketch to work with. Happy with how my layout turned out for this.
'Three of a Kind' is my take on the 2nd of 4 challenges for April over at Mad About Scrappin It was to use bright colours, 3 patterned papers, buttons, chipboard and a journal tag.
Love this photo of my sister, brother and myself...right before my brother was flying back to London
where he currently lives. Love you Sis and Bro xx

Should have more to share hopefully during the week. Thanks for stopping by....

Congrats to Kerryn Leworthy, Lauren Bell, Tania Ballestrin, Kim Jeffress and Belinda Spencer....gorgeous work as always girls...well done. I hope I haven't missed anyone that I know....sorry if I have.

April 13th 2010

Well as you can see I have done LOTS of scrapping lately.......so thought I would share what I have been up to.
'Forget Not' is my take on Challenge 1 of the 'Fabric Frenzy' Cybercrop over at Scrap With V the theme of this challenge was to do a shabby layout and to include fabric, pearls, journalling, lace, ribbon, flowers and a butterfly.....right up my alley LOL!!!
'Dream' is my take on the mystery/blind challenge done by Belinda Spencer over at Scrap With V for the April Cybercrop 'Fabric Frenzy'.
'Best Girls' is for the April Cybercrop 'Alice in Wonderland' over at Little Scrapbook Shop. This is may take on the sketch challenge set by Belle Comerford and it was also to scrap about something wonderful in our life.
'The Closer I Look at You' is from the Friday Night In 'Roll the Dice' challenge over at Mad About Scrappin we had to use white cardstock, 4 hearts, 5 photos, staples, chipboard and a 6 word title.
Little Scrapbook Shop held an 'Alice In Wonderland' Cybercrop for April and this challenge was to take inspiration from a picture that very talented Kerryn Leworthy designed. She also wanted a real life conversation or quote included on the layout as well. So this is how 'But I am Allergic to Waiting' came about!!!
'True Blue' is for the April 'Fabric Frenzy' cybercrop over at Scrap With V This one was for the DT only challenge and boy there was certainly some criteria to be included this time!!!!! One of the criteria was to use old bra hook and eyes!!!!
'Precious Memories' is a layout I did using the gorgeous little chippie penny farthing. I just love this piece and used as part of a Masking tutorial I also did.
'I Love Her Jewel Sea' is for Week 10 (the last week of Summer) in The Seasoned Scrapper over at Little Scrapbook Shop. We had to do a canvas and take inspiration from 'My Country' poem by Dorothy McKellar.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.....I love getting visitors......see you all soon.

Hope you all had a fabulous Easter break and that the Easter bunny visited your house. I have some more creating to show you again
'My Little Explorer' is my take on the scraplift challenge over at Scrap With V

The 'Merry Christmas' layout is a 'just because' layout.....I felt like using the gorgeous Graphic 45 Christmas papers. Yummo!!!
This layout below is from an Inspired Blueprints sketch that I did.
This layout is from the Easter weekend Fab Four challenges over at Little Scrapbook Shop 'The Fab Four' being The Beatles of course. This challenge was from the song 'Imagine'. The challenge was to scrap a layout or card using part of the lyrics.
I hid my journalling behind the shaped paper.
This is a card for the 1st April challenge that Mel over at MAD set. She asked for ribbon, a flourish and circles,

Thanks once again for visiting my blog....

Happy Easter everyone....hope you all got lots of choccies......
Thought I would share a couple of layouts with you. This one below is a challenge set by Sarah for the March Cybercrop over at Mad About Scrappin It is the DT choice for the challenges. She asked for a photo of yourself and to pick 2 out of these 3 criteria...negative space, distressing and doodling. I picked negative space and distressing.
This next one is from The Seasoned Scrapper over at Little Scrapbook Shop the challenge was to scrap about your Summer essentials. So I scrapped about Luke in the pool.....he loves the pool so I think its his favourite Summer essential.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you don't eat too much chocolate......... :D
