Over at Little Scrapbook Shop Week 4 of The Seasoned Scrapper was to take inspiration from the amazingly talented Kerryn Leworthy's award winning photo. Here is my take on the challenge. Luke was jumping off the trampoline into the water at Myall Lakes, Australia Day Weekend 2010. He had a ball too!!!

This next one below is my layout taking inspiration from a 'frog swamp' digi kit picture that the gorgeous Taryn Stark over at Scrap With V gave us to get inspired by.

Over at Enchanted Scrapbooking Tiff Sawyer did a tutorial on one of her recent double layouts. I bought the kit from them to make myself get this one done as I am trying to get better at doing double layouts. The layout is about 2009- A Year Review. It has 12 photos on it all together, one for each month.

Yay, so excited!! Over at Little Scrapbook Shop they have an all year running challenge/competition called 'The Seasoned Scrapper'. This season is Summer- of course and for Week 2, the challenge was to make a Card box to store all our handmade cards in. Well there were like 48 entries in the gallery and my card box won!!! Still so shocked mine was picked out of sooo many gorgeous other ones!! Here is a reminder of what it looks like ;)

I have some creating to share, this layout below is a 'just because' layout and it showcases my all time favourite style- shabby chic/vintage.  I absolutely love this photo of my maternal Grandmother- Ruth when she was 6 years old. She looks so much like a doll. I did some editing of the original photo to fix up some creases etc too.

This card box below is for The Seasoned Scrapper, Week 2 challenge at LSBS This is made out of all cardstock and patterned paper. Also we were to include Summery colours or anything that reminded you of Summer.

Well so far I have managed one layout for the Cybercrop over at Little Scrapbook Shop. This challenge was set by Nic to make up a Roses are Red, Violets are Blue poem of your own and include on your layout, so here is mine.

Well I can now officially announce more exciting news and that is that I got another Design Team position with Scrap A While!!!! The first ever DT positions I applied for and I was accepted in both, Scrap With V and Scrap A While!!!  I am so blown away to have been even accepted for one, let alone two!!! Come on over and chat with me on the forums, would love to get to know you all better.
Well I better go get scrapping, I have deadlines to meet now hehe!!

Hi all, well I have been scrapping up a storm over the weekend and joining in all the fun for the Cybercrop over at Scrap With V I have so far done the card challenge, the mystery/blind challenge, the DT only challenge and Challenge 1. Its great because we get all week to get the challenges done too so I just have to do the sketch challenge (which is a double eekk!!) and Challenge 2 of a mostly blue layout. Might get a start on the blue one tonight I think. Here's a little looky at my layouts that I did.

This one below is for the DT only challenge, called Cricket Crazy. The criteria is given by the members of the forum and was to use the colours green, orange and yellow, use paper curling, paint, beading, chipboard, include a sun, cloud or water also.

This one below is for the Mystery/Blind Challenge. Photo is of Luke at 5 months old, too cute!!

This one is for Challenge 1 set by the very talented Wendy Gaskin

Keeping in mind the Summer Holiday theme of the CC, include scrap packaging, something that flies, polka dots and a frame for your photo.

 

This next one below was set by the lovely Brigitte Grant. Her criteria was to use the word 'Water' in the title, a mostly blue layout, something recycled and paint or ink.

This is the card challenge set by sweet Tina Reynolds- use ribbons, a flower, bling, doodling and a chipboard shape.

Well I have some VERY EXCITING news to tell you all. I can finally now reveal that I have been accepted as a Design Team member at Scrap With V I am just so excited to be working with Ness and all the other wonderful DT girls there. Thanks Ness for the fabulous opportunity to be a part of your team. :) Make sure you come and check out Scrap With V they have STACKS of different challenges, sketches and lots of chat in the forum as well. The shop is brilliant too and the first Cybercrop for the year starts this Friday the 5th of February so come along and join in the fun. See you there :)

Saturday night the 30th of January was the very first 6 hour crop night at my LSS Pages 2 Scrap I had such a lot of fun with all the other girls, it was a blast and will be a monthly attendence by me:)

This is one of the layouts I got done while I was there, I am actually surprised I got something finished what with all the chat, giggling, eating and drinking that went on!!!
